STEP ONE: With this new system, there are two new fields that everyone will be glad to see. The Unit Designation, and the UIC/PAS code field. When everyone is registered, and everything is updated with units, everyone will be able to get a count of members in a specific unit. You may want to select and copy this information into a word processing document, and print it so you have it available to follow. Before you start your registration process, you need to find out some information. Record your unit (UIC-PAS) code and personal ID number on a slip of paper.. PERSONNEL ID NUMBER. (See the very left column on Membership List.) If you don’t know the code, or your unit is not on the list, you should know the current unit you are in. Write down the Company/Detachment or Squadron/Flight of the unit you are in. Don’t include the major command name as part of your unit name. Use the lowest level unit you are in. We will find your UIC/PAS code for you. Retired members can use: “WIRET” for a UIC/PAS code. Enter your UIC/PAS code in CAPITAL LETTERS. Follow the instructions to get registered. General instruction: Please enter data in CAPITAL LETTERS except for your USER NAME, PASSWORD, and EMAIL ADDRESS . 1. If your name is on the membership list, you are a paid member. 2. All records in Wisconsin with your last name will show up on your screen. If you have a duplicate record, you will probably see two, maybe more. Choose one. After you are registered, all duplicate name/s will then be removed. 3. You now need the ID Number for the record you want to register. Make sure you choose the record with the latest expiration date. Your ID Number should start with "WI" and a series of numbers following the WI. If you are a Life member there is an underscore (_) in your number. When entered, click on VALIDATE. You will be taken to the next step. 4. You now need to enter your personal access information. On the USERNAME, suggest to use your lastname and first or middle name initial, or first two letters in lower case of your first name. IE: John C Smith would be: smithj, smithjo, or smithjc. Or, if you have a favorite username that you use for other applications, you can use that too. The same for the password and security word. The security word should give you a hint as to what your password is. Enter an email address that you have access to from home and work. You are also welcome to create a new web email address for this use. You can do that in Yahoo or Gmail. You can do the email address in lower case. Check the box to display your information on the membership lists. Click on the final options and click on COMPLETE REGISTRATION. 5. You have just registered, but you are still not a paid member. The next screen is a Welcome New Member message. If you selected the right emai optionl, you will receive an email with your access information. Now you can update all the information in your profile, like address change, rank, unit, etc. You can now log in with your new USER NAME and PASSWORD. After you log in, select on VIEW or EDIT your profile. On this page, you can also print your EANGUS membership card. Soon you will be able to print a state membership card. This is being worked on. If you want, you can upload a digital photo of yourself. 6. Once you are registered, you can now JOIN or RENEW your membership. At the very top of the EANGUS website, you will see a menu item: JOIN OR RENEW. Click on that, follow the instructions to the state, and then the membership form. You may have to log in again with your new userid and password. 7. Enter all personal information in CAPITAL LETTERS when you make changes. >> For Member Type - If you are Enlisted in the National Guard you are ANNUAL. >> If you want to sign up for two or more years, you will have to renew for each year. Finish the entire form and click on SUBMIT.
