Wisconsin’s Benefits earned by the Wisconsin National Guard Enlisted Association (WNGEA)

1. 100% tuition reimbursement to a University of Wisconsin college

2. A free $10,000 life insurance policy for all first-time members joining the Wisconsin National Guard

3. Wisconsin GI Bill for Wisconsin National Guard Veterans, at no cost, for 128 credit hours at any University of Wisconsin college or UW associated technical college

4.  Dues-paying members and life members of the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States, or EANGUS, have an accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) benefit at no extra cost to the member.  This $2,500 benefit, will automatically cover all members under age 80 whose national dues have been received or accounted for by their respective national association headquarters. There are no other enrollment requirements for the member to be covered.

The Wisconsin National Guard Enlisted Association (WNGEA) is your voice on legal and judicial issues in local, state, and federal government. WNGEA representatives meet regularly with state legislature on matters related to the Wisconsin National Guard.  We are the only Organization that specifically promotes better benefits for National Guard Enlisted soldiers and airmen. 

In 2009, Guard members received a 3.4% Pay Increase in lieu of the 2.9%, the president planned.This resulted in an increase of:

This was a direct result of efforts by WNGEA and our parent organization, EANGUS (Enlisted Association for the National Guard of the United States).
