Scholarship Opportunities

One of the greatest benefits to those members in school or with dependents in school is exclusive access to various scholarships.

A plethora of scholarships are available through WNGEA, EANGUS and the EANGUS Auxiliary.  For instance, WNGEA offers up to five grants in the amount of $500 each, and one grant of $1,000, (known as the Raymond A. Matera Scholarship).   Depending on available funds additional Scholarsips may be available. 
 
USAA provides the Wisconsin National Guard Enlisted Association with an additional $1,000 dollar scholarship each year.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      This year we have also received a donation of an additional  $1000.00 dollar Scholarship from the Estate of CSM (Ret) Donald C. Meister.   Don was a Past President and an avid supporter of the Wisconsin National Guard Enlisted Association.

 The program includes one USAA Scholarship and three EANGUS Auxiliary Scholarships.  Scholarships are awarded on the basis of: (1) eligibility; (2) scholastic achievement, character, leadership and need; (3) availability of funds for the current year and the number of applicants.
Who is eligible?
Annual and Life EANGUS Auxiliary members, spouses and unmarried children/step-children, grandchildren/step-grandchildren
(up to age 26).
